Daily Notes

2025-01-27 - Kitchen Compost

I bought some Bragg’s “Nutritional Yeast” via Amazon early this morning. I love it on my “Cabbage Soup”!

I just love my little kitchen compost pail (see photo to the right). It fills up quickly with all the veggies I’m eating, but it sure helps keep the fruit flies away!

Looks like Carl Jung & Eckhart Tolle’s teachings overlap in some ways

As I was watching one of Maggie Murphy’s videos today I was taken by the way she says things, so I left her this comment: “Hi Maggie! I’m working my way through ALL your videos, from the oldest to the latest, and I need to say this… I just absolutely LOVE the way that you explain things. You really paint a picture with your words… “Prune Your Mental Garden”! Who talks like that? WUNDERBAR! I’m wondering where you learned to come up with these phrases and articulation? Do you have an English Degree? I saw a video in which you mentioned your mother was quite smart… Was she a teacher? Just curious… Thanks for all you do!” She responded: “Ha! I think prune your mental garden comes from one of the old guys“.

I was out and about this afternoon for a brief drive. No “Toonie”!
