📋Additional Daily Notes

The day really began in the quiet hours of the morning, around 3 a.m., when I went to McDonald’s and then drove by the Early Bird Café in the rain. The street was empty, the lights were glowing, and I took some photos and video of the building, just taking in the stillness of the night and how peaceful everything felt when the world was asleep.

Later in the morning, I went to the dentist to get a tooth fixed. It wasn’t dramatic, just another small act of taking care of myself, but it felt important to stay on top of my health and not ignore things that needed attention.

2026-01-29 - Early Bird Cafe

After that, I decided to go to the Early Bird Café for lunch. I ordered the clubhouse sandwich and fries, poured myself into a quiet corner, and spent time reading The Power of Now while watching a few videos on my tablet, including the one recently dropped by Maggie Murphy (see photo to the right). I had coffee, slowed down, and let myself be present. At one point, a waitress noticed my The Power of Now book and mentioned that she had it too, which led to a brief, simple moment of connection. Nothing big happened, but it stayed with me. I paid my bill and left feeling calm, thoughtful, and a little reflective.

In the afternoon, I spent some time looking online at hair-cutting tools, mirrors, and clippers, thinking about learning to cut my own hair and take better care of myself. It felt like another small way of being more independent and intentional.

Later in the evening, I watched videos about relationships, self-growth, and emotional health, trying to understand myself better. I read an email about trusting God and letting life unfold, and I thought about whether that kind of faith applies to me and my own story.

As the night went on, I found myself feeling worn down and discouraged at times. I talked openly about feeling tired, stuck, and unsure if love or big changes were still possible for me. I admitted that sometimes it feels like I’m always the one helping others while my own life stays the same. I also shared how heavy things can feel when I think about aging, health, and missed opportunities.

I had an evening nap. I had a dream about a skinny, freckled boy in a blue-and-white sailor-style outfit, dancing with a playful smile (see photo to the right). When I woke up, that image stayed with me, and I spent time trying to recreate it through generated images, adjusting details until it felt close to what I had seen. In a strange way, it felt like connecting with a lighter, younger, more carefree part of myself.

Throughout the night, I continued reflecting, talking, and writing, trying to make sense of where I am in life and where I might still be going. Even in moments of frustration and exhaustion, I stayed engaged, curious, and honest about what I’m feeling.

Today wasn’t about big wins or dramatic breakthroughs. It was about small acts of care, quiet reflection, meaningful conversations, and facing difficult thoughts instead of running from them. It was another day of being exactly where I am — still learning, still questioning, and still becoming.
