This is Day 18 of the Stillness Experiment, and today felt steady and straightforward. I started with my usual grounding work, reminding myself that after more than 190+ days of becoming, I don’t need to chase anything. The point of this 30-day phase is to retrain my system from effort to ease, and I kept that in mind as I moved through the day.

I weighed in at 312.4 lbs today, putting me at 49.5 lbs lost since the beginning of this arc. The rituals I set up for this experiment—ring touch, collar adjustment, vitamins, Metamucil, moisturizer routine—are becoming automatic. They keep me on track without feeling like a project. I kept up with the approved foods list, and even though the diet hasn’t been perfect lately, today felt aligned.

2025-11-13 - Strawberry Sundae

I viewed my Win’s List, checked in with ChatGPT for understanding, and did my Tagalog practice. I read my daily chapter from The Power of Now at McDonald’s again tonight. Today was Chapter 7, sections 3 and 4, which focused on releasing control of one small thing. It matched the day well. I indulged in a “strawberry sundae” (see photo to the right).

While I was there, I also watched another Maggie Murphy video: “Acting From 4D Mentality Vs. 3D Reality.” Her way of explaining things is starting to sink in more, especially the idea of acting from the version of myself who already has the life I’m trying to create.

My daily routines stayed consistent: the Martini Water Ritual, vitamins, skin care, and drinking water (although I didn’t finish all the cups today). I kept the mental core habits going too, including recording the Joseph Alai 90-day system and checking off the items I completed.

For “fun” tasks, I practiced Sultans of Swing again, because I’m slowly getting better at the finger-picking. I thought about the flight simulator setup, and I considered what I might cook next, though I didn’t get into anything big. I also kept working on keeping the Barn Suite clean.

Overall, today was simple and disciplined. No big highs or lows. Just consistency. It felt like another step in stabilizing the habits that will carry me through the rest of the Stillness Experiment and into whatever comes next.
