2025-07-26 - Booth At Benini's

I’m under 300 lbs. today for the first time in years! I see that on “2016-11-19-Sat” my weight was recorded at being close to 300 lbs.! I’m feeling that I’m on the verge of creating my diet plan and writing about how AI assisted me.

I ended up at Binini’s this evening. It’s pretty close to being the best thing in town to resemble Panera Bread. No “College & Young Professional” vibe, but young people and families do come in. They have a booth towards the back that I can stretch out at and do my work (see photo to the right), and two hardly ever used bathrooms nearby, so that’s really nice.

Something in me felt different today—subtle, but unmistakable. Maybe it was the joy of being under 300 pounds again, or the momentum from building out that 30-year spreadsheet, seeing my future stretch toward 95 with clarity and purpose. For the first time in a while, I felt blissfully happy… without needing a single thing to change.

It started earlier in the day, when I found myself unexpectedly swept into the antique car parade. It felt like I was riding through time—waved along by the past but grounded in the present. A kind of moving meditation. Later, I ended up at Benini’s, back in my usual booth, where something quiet and sacred unfolded. A father walked by the café window swinging his daughter upside down, her laughter lighting up the street. I just sat there watching them—no longing, no ache—just a full-body awareness that this was beauty. This was the kind of love I’ve been trying to manifest. And in that moment, I didn’t feel like I was missing it. I felt like I was inside it.

We talked about it all—how those suggested videos on my screen mirrored my inner world: “Skyrocket Beyond Expectations,” “What If It’s All a Lie?”… messages about trust, expansion, letting go. I remembered a time months ago when I begged the universe for a coin to prove it was listening. But tonight was different. I wasn’t asking out of desperation. I was driving home with eyes wide open, heart wide open, simply inviting the universe to wink—if it wanted to. And if not? That was okay too. Because I already felt rich.

And as I looked over my long-term vision—my weight, my writing, or even to something better—I realized I wasn’t waiting anymore. I was becoming.

Just being one.
