⭐ 14-Day “Christmas Comic Book” Sprint

  • Start: Nov 26
  • Finish Everything: Dec 10
  • Time per day: 2.5–3.5 hours (some days 4)
  • Format: ☐✅ for every item

DAY 1 — TODAY (Nov 26): FOUNDATION DAY

#01: Create the “ChristmasComic” Folder System
Make a folder named: ChristmasComic / Master Project
Inside it, create:

  • Hero Boy Reference
  • Neighbor Child Reference
  • Puppy Reference
  • Scenes
  • Cover
  • In-Progress Pages
  • Final Pages
This prevents chaos later when you’re producing 30+ images.

#02: Finalize the Core Story Spine
Write ONE sentence:
“A lonely boy wishes for a puppy — and if not a puppy, at least snow — and the Universe answers in a magical, unexpected way.”
This becomes your guiding compass for image generation and script.

#03: Lock the MAIN Wish Sentence
Decide EXACTLY what the hero whispers.
Example:
“If I can’t have a puppy… could I at least have snow on Christmas?”

#04: Generate 3 Essential Test Images
These three test images define the entire style of the book:

  1. Hero Boy disappointed on Christmas morning
  2. The overlooked puppy at the shelter
  3. The tear-jerker final hug (boy + puppy)
These images become the anchor visuals for all future art.

☐✅ #05: Post ONE Image to Neville FB Group
NOT a selling post — a feedback post.
Say something like:
“Here’s another test page from the children’s Christmas comic I’m creating based on Neville’s ‘Feeling is the Secret.’ What moment does this image make you feel? 🎄✨”
This draws engagement without triggering “sales resistance.”

☐✅ #06: Create ConvertKit Tag — “Comic Book Readers”
Use existing ConvertKit.
No new account needed.
This lets you segment future emails without confusing your BodyWhittle or AI Diet audiences.

☐✅ #07: Create ConvertKit Landing Page (Simple)
Template: “Coming Soon / Book Launch”
Headline:
“The Christmas Puppy – A Magical Children’s Comic (Coming December)”
CTA:
“Get a free preview PDF when it’s ready 🎄✨”

☐✅ #08: Store Today’s Notes in Google Doc
Title: The Christmas Puppy – Master Script & Notes
This is where ALL writing lives.
Keeps you from losing ideas in chat or in your head.

DAY 2 (Nov 27): SCRIPT CORE

☐✅ #09: Write Pages 1–6 in Simple Script Format
These are the easiest pages — atmosphere, boy intro, wish moment.
Each page needs:

  • One sentence narration
  • One emotional moment
  • One illustration note

☐✅ #10: Generate Art for Pages 1–3
Use the established style from yesterday’s test images.

☐✅ #11: Join 5 Parent-Friendly FB Groups
BUT DO NOT POST THE COMIC.
Just join.
The groups:

  1. Gentle Parenting Community (250k+)
  2. Children’s Book Lovers & Authors
  3. Picture Book Creators Group
  4. Christmas Magic Group
  5. The “KidLit” Facebook Community
Joining now means the algorithm warms you up so you can post pages later without seeming salesy.

☐✅ #12: Comment on 3 Posts in Each Group
Genuine comments only.
This primes the algorithm to show your future posts widely.

DAY 3 (Nov 28): STORY ARC LOCK

☐✅ #13: Finalize Middle Arc (Shelter → Disappointment → Neighbor Puppy)
Write the emotional turning points.

☐✅ #14: Write Pages 7–12 (The Echo Sequence)
This includes the magical moments before the wish manifests.

☐✅ #15: Generate Art for Pages 4–6
(From yesterday’s script.)

☐✅ #16: Make a Second Neville Group Post
Same style:
“Page 2 concept art — how does this feel? 🎄✨”
NO links.
No “sign-up.”
Just engagement.

DAY 4 (Nov 29): THE SAD MOMENT

☐✅ #17: Write Pages 13–14 (The Doubt Moment)
This is the emotional low point.
Key line:
“Maybe the magic doesn’t work for me…”

☐✅ #18: Generate Art for the Christmas-Morning Disappointment Scene
This is one of the two biggest emotional hits of the book.

☐✅ #19: Warm Up the Parenting FB Groups
Comment on:

  • Holiday posts
  • Parenting stories
  • “What are your kids asking for Christmas?” threads
    You are simply becoming visible.

DAY 5 (Nov 30): THE MAGIC TURN

☐✅ #20: Write Pages 15–17 (Manifestation Moment)
The neighbor child and the puppy appear.
Snow begins falling.
Boy’s face changes.

☐✅ #21: Generate Art for Neighbor Child + Puppy Scene
Use same puppy + same hero boy.

☐✅ #22: Quietly Update ConvertKit Page
Add a sample image to make it look more real.

DAY 6 (Dec 1): FINAL EMOTIONAL BEAT

☐✅ #23: Write Pages 18–20 (Tear-Jerker Ending)
This is where the emotional payoff lands.
The line:
“I didn’t get a puppy… but somehow, I did.”

☐✅ #24: Generate Final Hug Image
This will be the most powerful picture of the book.

☐✅ #25: Third Neville Group Post (no link)
Ask:
“Does this ending page feel magical to you? 🎄✨”

DAY 7 (Dec 2): COVER DAY

☐✅ #26: Create Title Options
Examples:

  • The Christmas Wishmaker
  • The Wishmaker’s Snow
  • The Puppy & the Snow
  • The Glow That Made Christmas

☐✅ #27: Generate 2–3 Cover Mockups
Use bold, warm, cozy, Christmas tones.

☐✅ #28: Join 2 Christmas-Specific FB Groups
Important for marketing later.

DAY 8 (Dec 3): ASSEMBLY DAY 1

☐✅ #29: Lay Out Pages 1–10 in Canva
Use children’s book page templates.
Import images, add narration text.

☐✅ #30: Create Spine + Back Cover Text
Simple description and author line.

DAY 9 (Dec 4): ASSEMBLY DAY 2

☐✅ #31: Lay Out Pages 11–20
Match typography, spacing, image style.

☐✅ #32: Build the “THANK YOU” Page
End with:
“For a free bonus story, join the Wishmaker Readers List: [URL]”

DAY 10 (Dec 5): PDF DAY

☐✅ #33: Export Full PDF
Name:
The Christmas Wishmaker – Preview Edition

☐✅ #34: Upload the PDF to ConvertKit
For automatic delivery.

☐✅ #35: Update Landing Page
New CTA:
“Get a free 20-page preview PDF 🎄✨”

DAY 11 (Dec 6): MARKETING DAY 1

☐✅ #36: Post Preview to Parenting Groups
Not the PDF — just a page or two.
Ask for feedback only.

☐✅ #37: Comment on replies for 15–20 minutes
Boost engagement.

DAY 12 (Dec 7): MARKETING DAY 2

☐✅ #38: Neville Group Post — “Behind the Scenes”
